This shop had gas lights and apparently no electricity yet.
The large sign on the back wall advertises Leather Shoes.
I have to wonder what other kind they had in those days.
Just in front of the woman in the middle is a box labeled "Olivet",
"Pure Toilet Soap" 
That one makes me wonder too.
In those days, every woman sewed, and that's how most of the clothes
were made.  Notice the pattern book opened to men's suits?
