much prefer this, don't you? "As Is" just don't get it
sometimes.
Just one more way I'm trying to preserve the past, not just
say "That's what it looked like when I got it"!
This is the same store as above, but from the back, where
the other was from just inside the front door.
Notice the young woman is wearing exactly the same as in the
above picture. The woman on the left is probably
Allie,
as she looks like the woman beside Frank in the Ry. Cafe

The store must have been on a corner, as the front door is
at an angle to the walls. "1927 Business Ads" posted
on Tarcreek.com lists Nebel's Grocery on the SE corner of
Second and Picher Streets. Just inside the door
is a stalk of bananas. They had a gas heating stove as
well as a wood burner that they probably burned coal in.
Notice the gas lights hanging from the ceiling.
