Carol Hiltpold
Pictured is Walter Stephenson, underground, at the Blue Goose mine south of Cardin in the mid 1920s. His son, Luther Junior Stephenson (Ouellette) was born in Cardin in 1926. Walter died of "black lung" in 1928.
