Ronald Dean Walker, 78 of Quapaw, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at his home.

Ronald was born November 26, 1934 in Picher, OK to the union of George Lee and Edna (Ross) Walker. He graduated from Picher with the class of 1953. He then served proudly in the United States Army from 1954-1962. After his time in the service Ronald went to work for B.F. Goodrich, working as a tire builder until the plant shut down.

Ronald was a fifty one year member of the American Legion Post 003 of Columbus, KS, and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. of Miami, OK.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Ida Rose, and one brother, Donald Lee Walker. He is survived by one sister Myrna Deloris Cawyer and husband Harold of Quapaw, OK, along with several nieces and nephews.
