Nancy Oreta Cruzan

Nancy Oreta Cruzan of Miami, Okla., passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Eastwood Manor Nursing Home in Commerce, Okla. She was 82.

Nancy was born March 4, 1934 in Picher, Okla. to Willis Benjamin and Florence (Genthe) Cruzan. She graduated from Picher High School Class of 1952 and had lived in Picher all her life until moving to Miami in 2008. Nancy was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Picher, Okla. She was secretary for Lions Supply Co. in Picher and later worked as bank teller for First State Bank of Picher for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Leonard Cruzan, Theodore Cruzan and George Cruzan.

She is survived by her brother James Cruzan of Joplin, Mo. and her sister Sally Lane of Miami, Okla.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, Okla. Rev. Ken Ferris will officiate with Danny Garner as the Eulogist. Pallbearers will be John Hutchison, Charlie Payton, Dr. John Grigsby, Danny Garner and Jimmy Bayliss. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Okla.
