John
Herbert Miller Jr. passed away at his home in Chanute, Kan. on
April 20, 2010.
He was born in Joplin, Mo. on March 25, 1935, to Herbert and
Helen (Holt) Miller.
He graduated from Picher High School in 1954, from Northeastern
Oklahoma A&M College in 1956 and from Oklahoma State College in
1959 as a chemical engineer. He was survived by his wife Mickey
Miller of the home; a son Michael Miller and wife Heather of
Chanute, Kan.; a daughter Tracy Ann Rhine and husband Lester of
Chanute, Kan; a sister Jo Ann (Miller) Meyers and of Miami,
Okla.; Two granddaughters Tera and Christen; three grandsons
Joshua, Zack and Bryce; one great-grandson Broodie; Four
step-children and their families.
Preceding him in death was his parents and his sister Jean
Moody Miller in 1995.
