Evelyn Maxine Pace went to be with her Lord and Savior
February 3, 2011 in Joplin, MO.
She was born in Picher, OK January 23, 1927 to Melvin and Beulah Perry.
She was preceded in death by her son Mick Pace
and her parents Melvin and Beulah Perry and former husband Charles Pace.
Survived by children, Susie and husband Dave Metts of Bella Vista, ARK, Sherri and husband Frank Frazier of Joplin, MO, Terri and husband Bob of Tuscaloosa, AL, Jack and wife Kim Pace of Joplin, MO. 7 Grandchildren Justin and wife Cassie Gardner, Michael and wife Jennifer Pace, Shawn and wife Ashley Evans, Frankie and wife Megan Frazier, Nicole and husband Rick Keyes, Travis Frazier, KyLeigh and husband Kris Garrett, 15 Great Grandchildren,
Sisters Mary Jean and husband Bud Anderson, Patsy Sweeten and Shirley Perry
and a host of relatives and friends, Maxine worked at Duffs Miami Floral for 36 years. A lifelong resident of Picher, OK, before moving to Joplin, MO, with her sister and best friend Shirley for the past 4 ½ years.
She attended St. Paul’s Methodist Church while living in Joplin, but was a member of Picher Church of the Nazarene.
She will be remembered for her love of music and dance; this will be passed on to grandchildren and great grandchildren forever more.

Funeral Services will be Monday February 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Justin, Michael, Frankie, Travis, Isaac and Clay. Honorary Pallbearers will be Friends from her Beloved Picher and Special Care giver Ed and staff of Meadows Care Facility. The family will receive friends from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Galena, KS.
