Beatrice Aileen Craig departed this life
on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the
Osborne Care Center in Miami, Okla. She
was 85.
Beatrice was born Aug. 9, 1924, in
Picher, Okla., to Chester and Marie
(North) Tomlinson. She married Ralph
Edward Craig on July 20, 1940. She
resided in the Picher area all of her
life.
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist
Church of Picher-Quapaw. Beatrice was
preceded in death by her husband on Aug.
23, 1991; one son, Eddie Lee Craig on
April 17, 2004; two brothers, Billy and
Terry Tomlinson of Kalama, Wash., and
two sisters, Mardell Fuller of Winlock,
Wash., and Patsy Perry of Ethel, Wash.
She leaves to mourn her passing: one
son, Butch Craig and wife Cecil of
Miami, Okla.; two daughters, Carol Olds
and husband Larry of Owasso, Okla., and
Cindy Frisbie and husband Jaime of
Joplin, Mo., one daughter-in-law, Karen
Craig of Grove, Okla.; one brother,
Kenneth Tomlinson of Clatskanie, Ore.;
three sisters, Monie Schoonover, Alice
Sue Sager and Sally Sager of Kalama,
Wash.; special friend, Tim Neely; seven
grandchildren and their spouses, Craig
and Dona Olds, Jill and Charles Anderson
of Owasso, Okla., Gina and Richard
Bassett of Grove, Okla., Clint and
Stefani of Quapaw, Okla., Jeremy Craig
of Joplin, Mo., Michelle Frisbie of
Oklahoma City, Okla., and Drew Frisbie
of Joplin, Mo., and 14 great-grandchilden,
Chaslee, Tori and Michael Anderson of
Owasso, Kali Kaydee and Karah Bassett of
Grove, Cortney, Brayden and Emilee Craig
of Commerce and Quapaw, Jeffrey
Childers, Lori Marshall and Brent
Marshall of Miami, and Aidan and
Christian Smith of Joplin, Mo.
Graveside services will be Tuesday March
16, 2010, at 11 a.m. at G.A.R. Cemetery
in Miami, Okla. Tim Neely will
officiate.
