Patricia L. Gibbs, 80 formally of Commerce and Picher passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 at Eastar Health Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Gibbs was born June 28, 1933 to Austin and Sybil (Post) Keithley in Picher, Oklahoma. She married Nat Gibbs June 3, 1955 in Picher and he preceded her death in 2006.

She owned and operated Ruthe’s Shoppe in Commerce for years, a member of the Mother’s Club and the P.T.A. and also was a member of the First Christian Church in Commerce.

Mrs. Gibbs is preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister Diane Martin.

Survivors: two sons: Michael and wife Tammy Gibbs of Houston, TX and Greg Gibbs of Broken Arrow, OK, one daughter: Teresa and husband Don Cash of Muskogee, OK, one brother: Austin Lee Keithley of Bentonville, AR, one sister: Jean Ann Walker of Vinita, OK. 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Chapel in Miami, Oklahoma with Pastor Howie Moss and assisted by Rev. Bill Richie. Interment will follow in the G.A.R Cemetery under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Oklahoma. Pallbearers: Don Cash, Preston Gibbs, Larry Keithley, Steven Keithley, Brian Burks and Aaron McBride.
