Nancy Jean (Taylor) Winton 79, formerly of Picher area passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in Miami Nursing Center.

Mrs. Winton was born July 18, 1934 in Picher, Okla. to George and Elma Taylor and attended Picher Schools.

She married Vernon Winton in 1959 and lived in Picher, Miami, and Commerce where they owned and operated the Horseshoe Café at the “Y intersection”

She was of Pentecostal faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Earl Taylor, Charles (Buster) Taylor, Burl Taylor, beloved daughter Karen Gibson Colvard and son Wesley Gibson who died at infancy.

She is survived by her Husband of Miami, Okla., two sons: Douglas Gibson and his wife Marilynn, of Chelsea, Okla. and Robert Gibson and his wife Twila of Oologah, Okla. Five grandchildren: Daniel Gibson and wife Kati of Chelsea, Okla., Karri Jump and husband Michael of Oologah, Okla., Robin Gibson of Oologah, Okla., Kenneth Colvard, Jr. and his wife Denise of Joplin, Mo., and Teresa White and her husband Robbie of Miami, Okla., one sister: Glenda Kindle and her husband Ora Lee of Oologah, Okla., 16 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren.
