Jacqueline Rose (Smith) Wickliffe

Jacqueline Wickliffe was born July 10, 1945, in Miami, Oklahoma to Jack Smith and Dorothy (McKee) Smith. She passed away in Tahlequah on February 21, 2014, at the age of 68.

Jacqueline (Jacqui) graduated from Picher High School and Northeastern State University. She received her Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Oklahoma. She married Dennis Wickliffe and from this union came two children, Kelsey and Kyle.

Jacqui worked as an educator and administrator at Anadarko High School, Northeastern State University and Tulsa Job Corps. She loved reading, going to movies, talking about politics and spending time with friends and family.

Jacqui was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Dorothy Smith and her husband, Dennis Wickliffe.
She is survived by two children; son, Kelsey Wickliffe and wife Jennifer, and their daughter Elizabeth, all of Bristow, and son, Kyle Wickliffe and wife Angeline, and their daughters Madeline and Charlotte, all of Tahlequah; extended family and countless friends and former students and colleagues.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 25th at Green Country Funeral Home.
Graveside services and interment will be held Wednesday, February 26th at 10 a.m. in the Tahlequah Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.
