Grace Hannah Millard of Baxter Springs,
Kan., died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at
Quaker Hills Skilled Nursing in Baxter
Springs. She was 91.
She was born Dec. 14, 1918, in Picher to
Hayden and Mattie (Conner) McCammon. She
lived in the Picher area most of her
life.
She was homemaker and a seamstress who
sewed for all walks of life. She was of
the Baptist faith and a member of the
Senior Citizens Club. She married Alvin
Millard on Nov. 7, 1947. He survives, of
the home.
Additional survivors include Charles and
wife Loretta Dawson of St. Genevieve,
Mo., Robert and wife Jody Dawson of
Wichita, Kan., John and wife Theresa
Millard of Stella, Mo., Sue and Ken
Fisher of Baxter Springs, and Charles
and Mary Millard, several grandchildren,
great-grandchildren,
great-great-grandchildren and
great-great- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son,
Gary Allen Dawson in November 1966, and
all her siblings.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m.
Tuesday at the Baxter Springs Cemetery.
The Rev. Dave Coleman will officiate.
