Dorothy Jeane (Sigle) White of Miami passed away early Tuesday morning, January 12, 2016. Dorothy was born to Harold and Helen Sigle, July 19, 1943. Dorothy was born and raised in Picher, OK. She graduated from Picher High School May of 1961. Just a few months later, July 21, 1961, Dorothy married the love of her life, David White. Dorothy worked at Integris Baptist Regional Hospital for 30 plus years where she became very close friends with the entire medical records staff. You girls know who you are. She loved each and every one of you. Dorothy was a dedicated wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother. Dorothy was greatly loved by all family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was her family, from watching her grandchildren play baseball, duck calling to softball and various activities. She loved to visit with family, friends and yes even strangers. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Helen Sigle, a beloved brother, Roger Sigle and niece Kassie Sigle . Dorothy is survived by her husband of 54 years, David White of the home. Two sons: Jeff White and wife Shannon of Miami, OK, Robb White and wife Teresa of Miami, OK. Two grandsons: Jared White and fiancé Shaylee Smith of Mustang, OK, Heath White and wife Tiffany of Miami, OK. A granddaughter: Jordan Denise White, (Sissy) of Miami, OK. Two great grandsons: Hunter and Drake White of Miami, OK. Sister – in – law: Sue Sigle, Niece: Hollie Holderfield and husband Marc, Nephew: Ryan Sigle and wife Sarah, a great nephew and niece, Hunter and Marlie Holderfield, all of Branson, MO . Dorothy is in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK. Due to Dorothy’s wishes she has chosen to be cremated. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami. Graveside Services will be Friday, January 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK.
