Donald Ray Renick, 52, of Quapaw, Okla. passed from this on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, Mo.

Don was born on Dec. 7, 1962 at the Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, Calif. to the union of Larry and Cindy (Montgomery) Renick. After high school, Don attended and graduated from Missouri Southern with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice.

Don was united in marriage to Karin (Cawyer) Renick on April 15, 1989 in Cardin, Okla. Don worked as an operator for Bag Craft in Baxter Springs for 21 years last working in Sept. of 2013. He attended Union Church in Picher and after their closing he attended Cardin Christian Church. Don loved all varieties of music and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Don is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Rita Montgomery, and Howard and Winnie Renick.

Don is survived by his parents Larry and Cindy Renick; wife, Karin Renick of the home; two daughters, Amanda Renick and Madison Dawn Renick both of the home; two brothers, Larry Lee Renick and wife Teresa of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Scott Renick and wife Christina of Baxter Springs, Kan.; along with nieces, nephews, and extended friends and family.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami, Okla. Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-7 p.m., at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel. Pallbearers for the service are; Doug Johnson, Brian Miller, Brian Barnard, Tommy Thomas, Jody Adams, Jeff Smith, Bill Chase, Marty Castle.
