Don C. Miller age 77, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Integris General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma. He was born in Tightwad, Missouri the son of Fred and Mary (Lyonberger) Miller.
He served in the United States Navy on a submarine traveling all over the world. He worked as a book binder for Vilel/Goller Fine Arts in Kansas City, Missouri retiring after 50 years of service. He was united in marriage to Gloria Brown on February 29, 1992 in Miami, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two sisters. He is
survived by his wife, Gloria of the home; two brothers, Jim
Miller of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Bennett Miller of
Independence, Missouri. He is also survived by four
step-grandchildren, Jimmy, Connie, Dana and Rhonda; six
grandchildren; Graveside services and interment will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August, 22, 2011 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Treece, Kansas with Rev. Robert Cody, officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard Team.
