Delpha Crawford

Delpha Arlene Crawford of Cardin died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at her home. She was 81,

Delpha Crawford was born June 16, 1924, to Jarvis and Stella (Boring) Spears in Harrison, Ark. She lived in Cardin for the past 60 years after moving from Anderson, Mo.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the first Baptist Church of Cardin and received a pin for 48 years of perfect attendance in Sunday School.

She was married to Billie Joe Crawford, he survives, of the home.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Kerley of Cardin, and Susie Jo Stone of Miami; four brothers, Harold Spears of Anderson, Mo, Howard Spears of Bella Vista, Ark., Jarvis Spears Jr. and Charles Spears, both of Liberty, Mo.; three sisters, Geneva Jeske of Von Cover, Wash., Marie Eads of Anderson and Margaret Tallent of Webb City, Mo., four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Carolyn Crawford, and two sons, Larry Lee Crawford and Frankie Lee Crawford.
