Bobby "Bob" Joe Hayworth, 65, passed away into the loving arms
of his Lord and Savior on May 23, 2011. He is now celebrating
his new journey with Christ.
He was born September 26,1945 to Harry Hayworth and Iva James.
He was raised in Picher, Okla., and was a member of Highway
Tabernacle and Cutting Edge Ministries.
Mr. Hayworth lived in Picher most of his life, serving his
community as Assistant Fire Chief for 18 years and Fire Chief
two years. He retired in 1996 and moved near Osage Hollow in
Fairland, Okla. with his wife Mary "Gail" (Selsor) Hayworth.
She preceded him in death on April 16, 1998. Mr. Hayworth moved
back to Picher area, and married Peggy Arlene Frazier in 2002.
She preceded him in death on October 7, 2009.
He is survived by: three children, Bobby Hayworth and wife
Karen of Haltom City, Texas, Chrystal (Hayworth) Nodine and
husband Brent of Miami, Okla.; one step-daughter, Adrienne (Gailey)
Homer of Broken Arrow, Okla.; five grandchildren, Michael
Washington, Kinzie Bekemeier, Kara Hayworth, Kristen Hayworth,
Emily Nodine; two great-grandchildren, Kaden Hayworth and
Kameron Bekemeier; one brother, Glenn Hayworth; three sisters,
Linda Garrett, Latotsa "Totty" Forgey and Debbie Garrett.
He is preceded in death by: one son, George Franklin Hayworth;
his mother, Iva (James) Buttram; one sister, Phyllis (Buttram)
Rozell.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Randy Anderson, Rusty Anderson,
Rocky Anderson, Austin Anderson, Rex Garrett, Ricky Boatwright
Services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 27,2011 at Cutting
Edge Ministries (342 Goodrich Blvd. Miami, OK - across from NEO
Federal Credit Union).
Services are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home.
Pastors officiating will be: Bro. Ray Clonts and Monroe Cole.
Visitation will be at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami,
Thursday evening from 7 to 8 p.m.
