Bill R. Kline, of Miami, passed away
Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, at the Osborne
Care and Rehab Center after a long
illness. He was 78.
Bill was born Oct. 21, 1931, the son of
Marvin S. and Nannie Shope Kline in
Cardin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air
Force, serving during the Korean
Conflict.
He retired from B.F. Goodrich in 1986.
Bill then went to work as the director
of security at Shangri La Resort until
retiring in 2001. He was a Sunday school
teacher and member of the Immanuel
Baptist Church in Miami. He was also a
member of the Fairland Round Up Club.
Bill married Chloe Ann Robbins on June
14, 1959, in Miami, and she survives.
Additional survivors include two sons,
Troy Kline and his wife, Maxanne, Miami,
and Todd Kline and his wife, Renee, Ft.
Worth, Texas; six grandchildren, Kenton
Kline, Victoria Kline, McKenna Kline,
Mitchell Kline, Josiah Kline and Malia
Kline.
Bill was preceded in death by his
parents and one brother, Marvin E.
Kline.
Memorial services were held at 10 a.m.,
Wednesday, Dec. 9, at the Immanuel
Baptist Church. The family will received
friends from 6-7 p.m., Tuesday at the
Immanuel Baptist Church. The body was
taken for cremation under the direction
of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home,
Seneca, Mo.
